Consequences of this initiative not being funded	We are not reaching all Math students to the best of our ability due to facilities and services that do not currently exist, but would exist in a Center for Excellence in Mathematics. We have done extensive research and have a clear rationale that such a Center would contribute greatly to retention, student success, and higher quality teaching and learning.
