Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale	The Criminal Justice Program still requires students to take 1 credit in Phys Ed. We have discussed with the Chair of the Movement Science Program the potential of developing a class dedicated to the Physical Requirements of potential law enforcement candidates. We believe that this project will improve the physical abilities and overall health of our students while enhancing their chances of success on this police entry level requirement.
Consequences of this initiative not being funded	this initiative is ready to move forward as the Director of the Police Academy has offered to assist us in whatever we need including visiting the academy as well as providing us with materials
