This will provide additional advising, assessment, planning and recruiting help for Middletown.  This position will report to the Honors Director and could have a load redefinition of three credits per semester.

If we cannot provide faculty coordinators, create a dedicated honors advisor (in conjunction with Advising and Counseling).

Consequences of this initiative not being funded

Current coordinator will continue to be overwhelmed and work beyond the scope of the contract.

Retention will suffer as students do not feel welcome or as if they have special connections with program administrators.

Advising will be less than it could be. Planning and projects will remain minimal.
