Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale	Employers tell us that the career readiness of recent college graduates is of concern. Many new graduates lack the basic soft skills required to be successful on the job. NACE has identified seven competencies associated with career readiness for the new college graduate and has made material available for colleges to use to build a curriculum. SUNY has also developed a career development course that covers some of the career readiness competencies. We will look at both documents and create a career readiness curriculum that we can then offer our students.
