Through collaboration with local businesses and their professional associations, CAPE is able to develop timely, relevant training programs to meet the education and training needs of local employers and to keep abreast of emerging career opportunities for our students.
Through collaboration with local businesses and their professional associations, CAPE is able to develop timely, relevant training programs to meet the education and training needs of local employers. These programs enable employers to keep up with industry demands and competition, and enable CAPE and the college to maintain currency within its curricula.

CAPE and the college can then offer programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of the local workforce, enabling our students and participants to be as valuable as possible in the local employment marketplace.

By maintaining currency in marketable knowledge and skills, CAPE enables the college to enhance its resources for our students and participants and for local employers.
By maintaining currency by meeting the training and education needs expressed by local employers, CAPE consistently offers programming that is timely, current and valuable to the region's employees and employers.
Partnerships with local employers can enable CAPE to develop relationships that could benefit the college's Career Services department by opening potential new internship opportunities, and the academic departments by identifying potential guest speakers and adjunct instructors.
CAPE's collaborations with local employers and their professional associations are outreach efforts that expand the visibility of the college and can be utilized as a strategic marketing effort.
CAPE can be utilized as a bridge between business and academic programs and services. CAPE's partnerships can open additional applied learning opportunities for participants and students.
