Initiative Title | Establish a Criminal Justice Public Policy Polling Program |
Submitted in Previous Year(s) | No |
Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale | Students would be able to conduct polls in Orange County to determine public opinions on Criminal Justice Programs and Policies. It would enhance students understanding of how criminal justice policies impact politics and often foster changes in communities. In addition to the learning advantages the program would also provide our local law enforcement and criminal justice executives with data that can be utilized to improve program delivery to their constitutents. |
Consequences of this initiative not being funded | We would miss an opportunity to provide experiential learning to our students and also to provide the criminal justice community with a valuable resource for planning. |
