The function of the campus libraries is to support students with research and assignments. There are many ways to do this, for example social media has been and can be used by libraries to encourage students to engage with librarians and library staff. The user experience involves listening to our user base, creating  personal environments that support the specific needs of the student population which in turn support the retention efforts of the college.

Consequences of this initiative not being funded

No funding is being requested at this time.

Department GoalsThe library resources shall support the curricula of the College, provide the basis for a well-rounded liberal education, and meet the research needs of the college community. , Provide an effective program of Library Instruction where students will learn the methods and processes necessary to effectively carry out research for scholarly purposes and the pursuit of life-long learning., Provide access to a full-range of information materials and resources., Create a friendly, safe and supportive environment with trained staff and state-of-the-art equipment and facilities to support the research process.
