The fields of Architecture and Engineering represent the front line in sustainability since Architects and Engineers are the ones that will design our new 'green' society. It is important that the college infuse this topic in it's courses to address this change.

Consequences of this initiative not being funded

Our programs will become outdated by not adequately covering the latest technological trends.

Department GoalsProvide a high quality, rigorous and meaningful Architectural curricula which will prepare students for transfer to upper division universities or entrance into the global workforce., Provide a high quality, rigorous and meaningful Engineering curricula which will prepare students for transfer to upper division universities. , Provide a high quality, rigorous and meaningful Astronomy, Geology, Chemistry, Physics and Physical Science curricula which will support SUNY’s general education requirements as well as the requirements of students seeking degrees that are outside of the , Be recognized as having the most outstanding science, engineering and architectural programs among our peers locally and regionally., Enhance the Department's visibility both within and outside of the college.
