Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale | With the resignation of Professor Magnes the architecture program now only has one full-time faculty member. Further Professor Magnes also taught multiple sections of EGR101 |
Consequences of this initiative not being funded | Part-time adjuncts will need to cover Professor Magnes' courses, which will require much of the program to be shifted into the evening. The engineering course EGR101 offerings may need to be reduced. |
Department Goals | Provide a high quality, rigorous and meaningful Architectural curricula which will prepare students for transfer to upper division universities or entrance into the global workforce., Hire, develop and retain diverse, high quality faculty and staff to engage and support students in science, engineering and architectural education, research and development., Enhance the Department's visibility both within and outside of the college. |
