| Consequences of this initiative not being funded | There would be a need to hire a f/t temp instructor again, and since we have needed this position for 12 consecutive semesters, it is clear that this position could be filled by a permanent instructor, adding stability to the department. NOTE: If it is a choice of getting this position filled OR a Director for the Center of Excellence in Mathematics, we strongly prefer the Director for the CEM. Thus the "medium" importance for this initiative and the "high" importance for that of the Director. |
