The Institutional Advancement division would request the funding to hire an external Marketing and Communications agency (consultant) In an effort to maximize the College's marketing dollars, expand outreach into traditional and digital media platforms, and broaden our ability to recruit students of all ages. With an outside agency that partners with businesses and organizations in Orange County, we might benefit from a broader marketing strategy that takes advantage of the consultant's work with a variety of media outlets, from radio and television to print media and digital outlets. The hope would be to hire an agency early in the fiscal year in order to generate awareness and expanded marketing efforts over the academic year with the intent of positively impacting Spring 2019 and Fall 2019 enrollment.

Consequences of this initiative not being funded

The College will continue to work internally to stretch our marketing dollars and personnel. We'd be unable to capitalize on an agency's creative staff, as well as its media buying power and efficiency.
