Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale	Expands the laboratory offerings of courses in several departments in two divisions; course work it will service includes the following Biology courses: General Bio I and II, Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy, Anatomy and Physiology I and II, and Neurobiology; also provides opportunities for advanced dissection or observations of dissections by students in PTA, OTA, MT, Nursing, MLT and Rad Tech. Provides a community resource and continuing ed opportunity for health professionals in the Hudson Valley, many of whom may be alumni of OCCC's Allied Health Programs.
Consequences of this initiative not being funded	Loss of above opportunities for expansion - niche may be filled by science and technology expansions underway at Mount St. Mary's

COLLEGE I: To provide courses in the arts, sciences, health professions, humanities, business and technology at the level of Associate degree programs, certificates, training and developmental programs to meet student needs for further education, employment and personal growth. 2: To provide appropriate credit and non-credit programs to satisfy changing Orange County needs and demographics.

MIDDLESTATES Standard13: Related Educational Activities a: Developmental student learning is very important for the success of under-prepared students. As the college does not utilize consistent, student-specific data on the progress of these students, appropriate resources should be made available to assist the Developmental Education Program in tracking the progress of students and assessing their success after completion of developmental courses. Adequate software, and qualified and sufficient staffing to effectively and efficiently utilize it, should be available to gather important data about the progress of students.
