Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale	In Dental Materials an emerging standard of care involves the use of an intraoral scanner rather than alginate impressions. To better prepare entry level dental hygienists post graduation, it would be desirable to acquire an intraoral scanner.
Consequences of this initiative not being funded	The consequences of not funding this initiative would be that the graduates of our program would require post graduate training rather than entering the field prepared to do this skill.
