The need to have an Associate Registrar is very apparent as I have been in the office for four months. The Assistant Registrar has assumed some of these duties, but only on a temporary basis with a temporary stipend. The Associate Registrar will be able to manage, oversee and develop systems and processes that are needed to keep the office compliant with SUNY Orange, state and federal regulations and procedures. The Associate Registrar will collaborate with the Registrar on the needs of the college and office. The Associate Registrar is an important member of the college and office and this position needs to be filled right away.      

Consequences of this initiative not being funded

Many procedural and regulatory issues will not be able to be address.
