Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale	The program self study is due in February 2018 with a site visit tentatively scheduled for some time in August - September. The self study is currently being worked on evidence being gathered to submit as supporting documents. The program has been in communication with the head of the agency and expressed a better time for the visit would be late September, when our new students begins, classes start, students are out at clinical and so forth. She agreed on this and we will request a date late in September when the time comes. For the site visit, the sponsoring institution must pay a fee of $900 per visitor (we will have two) and other amounts for hotel and food; so the minimum amount is $1,800.00
Consequences of this initiative not being funded	We do have money in the budget currently for accreditation, but it may not be enough depending on what is rolled over and used for new sites. If we could not pay and full-fill this obviously we would lose accreditation or be put on probation until the funds were there to pay for the visitors and fees.

The Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology ensures academic quality in programs it recognizes by review their standards against program policies, curriculum, institutional guidelines and so forth. These processes help support students reaching their goals in the program to move on and become registered technologists.
