Critical Information, Notes, Justification, RationaleThe technical support project area includes two major library initiatives: 1. OCLC records reclamation project and 2. Finalization of EZProxy and cataloging of electronic materials. Initiative #1 reclamation involves identifying older cataloging records and assigning an oclc number to identify information to be included within our Aleph library catalog. This is essential to provision of interlibrary loan within the SUNY Connect SUNY One project. Initiative #2 involves completion of installation of the EZProxy software that will allow us to authenticate our user population in-house rather than outsourcing it. Once EZProxy is complete, we can begin to catalog our electronic book and periodical materials for access through the Aleph catalog.
