The SUNY Orange Leadership Conference supports those within the college community who are looking to expand their knowledge of leadership best practices. The three-day event, held every other year, brings approximately 20-25 participants together from a variety of departments and units across the college. Participants have the opportunity to network, discuss and collaborate upon future projects at the college, and identify effective leadership practices they can incorporate into their professional and personal lives.

Consequences of this initiative not being funded

This opportunity provides an in-house conference for all employees of the college to learn about each other and how each unit provides value to the overall student experience at SUNY Orange. Participants not only learn about each other and the college as a whole, but have the time and opportunity to learn and reflect upon leadership strategies that can be brought back and implemented within their individual roles.
