Initiative Title | To gain SUNY approval for the 64-credit maximum and seamless transfer efforts and list the changes in the college catalog. |
Submitted in Previous Year(s) | No |
Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale | Now that the SUNY Orange Curriculum Committee and the VPAA have approved these programs changes, we need approval from SUNY in order to list the changed degree programs in our catalog. |
Consequences of this initiative not being funded | Students need to be able to plan ahead to schedule the completion of their degree program. The 64-credit maximum needs to be publicized as soon as possible. We would like to see it in the 2015-16 College Catalog. This Catalog should be published in a timely manner for students registering for fall during the summer months. |
Department Goals | To achieve a maximum of 64-credits per business program as well as a seamless transfer required by SUNY without compromising the integrity of the programs. |
