For the next year, the Behavioral Sciences Department is focused on three specific areas:

  • Expanding reach of effective HMS coordination activities
  • Reconceiving departmental activities in line with the Community structure including Gateway Courses
  • Teaching quality General Education courses

In addition, we will continue to focus on

  • Maintaining Quality Faculty and Facilities

1 Provide quality instruction and learning opportunities in General Education Courses
2 Maintain and improve internship placement processes for HMS students
3 Explore implications of DL degrees, both Liberal Arts AA and HMS AS
4 Expand Human Services Outreach
5 Further explore teaching and impact of Gateway Courses
6 Begin student advising through the our Program Maps and Community structures.
