The Bursar/Student Accounts Office is responsible for the collection of tuition and fees in a timely manner and ensuring that students are aware of their financial obligations.  Moving forward, correspondence with students will be via e-mail, phone, and possibly text messaging.  In addition, implementing electronic billing and allowing students the option of granting access to designated proxies, students and designees will have easier access to view and pay invoices.   We will reach out to students with outstanding balances during the semester to provide information on payment options as well as the penalties of not satisfying outstanding obligations. Delinquent accounts will be sent to collection agencies earlier to increase the likelihood of locating and collecting on these accounts. Lastly, with the support of our IT department and gaining a better understanding of Banner capabilities we will be able to utilize staff more efficiently.
