1. Guide the final stages of the CSE building project to ensure Fall 2014 readiness.
2. Ensure that learning environments (i.e. working and learning spaces) are conducive to teaching and learning and support program outcomes.
3. Shepherd BMST division-wide approach to promoting STEM (in conjunction with opening of CSE)
4. Contribute to Academic Affairs leadership team by orienting new members and fulfilling vacant roles.
5. Contribute to Middle States Self Study / Review efforts. Work to ensure that meaningful recommendations and next steps are planned and implemented.
6. Promote and encourage meaningful assessment and use of data in decision making, planing and analysis.
7. Shepherd the College's implementation of the SUNY Seamless Transfer / Transfer Path initiatives.
8. Provide an academic voice to Title III project and activity implementation.
9. Support initiatives for under-prepared students.
10. Encourage and support creativity and professional development of BMST faculty.
