The mission of the SUNY Orange Custodial and Grounds Department is to manage the campus cleaning and  grounds for both Middletown and Newburgh Campuses to ensure that the College's buildings and grounds are  maintained, cleaned, and in proper condition for safe and efficient operation. 

Department Goals

Specific things the department wishes to achieve or accomplish this academic year.

# Department Goal
1 Evaluate the overall maintenance operation with the goal of allowing Facilities to maintain APPA Level 2 standards.
2 Manage a disinfection and cleaning schedule for both campuses including pandemic protocols
3 Establish and maintain a recycling program
4 Documentation and benchmarking to help improve department efficiency and success
5 increase training opportunities for staff and supervisors
