The Education Department will continue this year to work on improving the education of our students through expanding our offerings and articulations, improving our curriculum, assessing our learning outcomes, and collaborating with the Lab School.



Department Goals

Specific things the department wishes to achieve or accomplish this academic year.

# Department Goal
1 Develop our first fully online course: Childhood Health and Safety.
2 Support Lab School in its self-study for NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) accreditation.
3 Continue to gather resources for student use in Education Study Lounge in BT 252.
4 Gather and analyze data from key assessments as part of assessment initiative.
5 Continue to work on creating articulations with Mount Saint Mary College and Mercy College and improving our current certificate programs.
