The mission of the SUNY Orange Facilities Environmental Health and Safety Office is to provide expertise and support to all departments at SUNY Orange in the areas of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS). This Office creates and manages the training of facilities staff and the larger campus community in EHS areas as well as performing fire safety activities. Ensures that SUNY Orange is in compliance with all NYS, County, and Federal Government mandated Fire Safety, Hazardous Materials, OSHA, EPA, and other regulations. In addition, this office researches regulatory issues, develops and presents training and represents EHS on committees as assigned and ensures all hazardous waste and e waste are removed safety from campus.

1 Develop a continuous water and air quality testing program throughout the College
2 Develop campus maps for Facilities, that include all systems, storm drains, meters, generators, etc that affect operations
3 Incorporate an EH&S System to assist in better tracking all aspects and equipment under the responsibility of the Facilities Dept
