The mission of the SUNY Orange facilities department is to ensure that the College's buildings and grounds are maintained, cleaned, and in proper condition for the safe and efficient operation of the Middletown and Newburgh Campuses both now and in the future. Department planning is guided by a Facilities Master Plan which dovetails with the College's overall Strategic Plan and the facilities related components of the Middles States Commission on Higher Education, the College's accrediting body.
Currently there are two new members of the facilities team; Corey Dawkins the new Director of Campus Facilities and Doug Finkle the Manager of Custodial and Grounds with additional key staff to be added in the months ahead. There are several initiatives that will be the focus of 2022-23 which will support the renewed focus of meeting the goals of the College's overall Strategic Plan
