At present, the search for a Financial Aid Director is underway. The road map that will inform planning for the upcoming year has been provided by Campus Works who completed an on-site assessment in August 2019. Two areas that were highlighted in their report were the need to better utilize technology to improve delivery of Financial Aid to students and the need for on-going professional development for new professional staff members. At present, this means better utilization of Banner and the implementation of TD Client to connect to Federal websites and expedite data transmission.
Professional development for new staff so that they can systematically become familiar with all aspects of State and Federal policies and practices is essential as we move through this period of transition.
