The Honors Advisory Board re-examined its goals and priorities and determined those listed below remain important. We want to offer the best opportunities and experiences to our students and faculty and improve our ability to attract and retain new students. These items will assist with that.

Department Goals

Specific things the department wishes to achieve or accomplish this academic year.

1 Acquire/secure appropriate space and facilities as part of the infrastructure and personnel plan based on program assessments
2 Provide per semester stipend for honors peer mentors
3 Provide annual funding for students & faculty to participate in conferences and other experiential learning and community-building opportunities
4 Improve recruitment of quality and committed traditional, non-traditional, and under-represented student populations by offering more program-specific scholarships
