Maintenance

The mission of the SUNY Orange facilities department is to ensure that the College's buildings and grounds are  maintained, cleaned, and in proper condition for the safe and efficient operation of the Middletown and Newburgh Campuses both now and in the future. Department planning is guided by a Facilities Master Plan which dovetails with the College's overall Strategic Plan and the facilities related components of the Middles States Commission on Higher Education, the College's accrediting body.

3 Evaluate the overall maintenance operation and develop improvements or changes
4 Successfully manage assigned work orders within the parameters set by the department.
5 Evaluate employee-staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage on a regular basis.
6 Documentation and benchmarking to help improve department efficiency and success
