Goals for Academic Year 2015-2016

 

1.  Convert final exams for PTA I and Medical Conditions for the PTA to computer format to be completed in a computer lab setting and assess the efficacy of the administration of the PEAT exam.

2.  Continue to promote the development and use of Angel course shells for all PTA Program courses and facilitate the transition to Blackboard

3.  Develop and hold two Continuing Education courses for local therapeutic community at large

4.  Pursue/complete articulation agreements with college(s) offering the Doctorate in Physical Therapy – in specifics Mercy College

5.  Obtain funding and purchase additional equipment to maintain both Accreditation Standards and local industry standards through the PTA Program budget and the use of the CTEA Grant

6.  Program Faculty will attend the November Accreditation Workshop and maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and active professional practice

7.  Continue to pursue Assessment activities at the Program and Student levels

8.  Revise and enhance the Admissions processes for entrance into the PTA Program
