The mission of the Office of Accessibility Services (OAS), at SUNY Orange, is to provide equal access and opportunity to qualified students with disabilities. Our goal is to increase awareness of disability issues and provide opportunities for students with disabilities to fully integrate into the SUNY Orange community. OAS strives to ensure technological access for individuals with disabilities. Continue to provide effective accommodations for disabilities based on law and/or current best practices.

  1. Continue to use technology and data driven tools to streamline our services to effectively and efficiently serve students while they pursue their academic goals
  2. Provide education and consultation to the campus community about disability issues.
  3. Continue to secure funding via grants.     
  4. Continue to provide academic adjustments and support services aimed at minimizing barriers, allowing for full access to both academic and co-curricular College wide programming.
