Student Services Central (SSC) provides current and prospective students with centralized enrollment services.  SSC serves as the customer service area representing Admissions, Financial Aid, Bursar, and Registrar Offices on Middletown and Newburgh campuses.  SSC also provides support to the Business office, Wellness Center, and Academic Advising. 

SSC will be entering its fourth year as a dual campus department during AY1718.  As a fairly new entity, we continue to refine and update our processes, procedures and relationships with the related departments.  Much of the recent years has been focused on stabilizing staffing as well as implementing new technology, creating manuals, procedures, and processes for the Enrollment specialist. 

This year the department will focus on refining the resources staff need to provide good service to our students and the SUNY Orange community and improving the functionality of the call center.

1 To support and maintain the professional development for all categories of staff including campus-based trainings, conference participation, and access to leadership/personal development resources.
2 Provide efficient and accurate service to students in-person and over the phone.
3 Use pre-existing technology to improve student experience.
