Summary

Student Services Central (SSC) is committed to providing clear, complete and accurate information to each student who wishes to apply, enroll and finance their education at SUNY Orange.  As part of our commitment to serve our current and prospective students, we strive to exceed their expectations in achieving academic and personal success.  We are striving to guide, support and enroll students using a student-centered model that supports institutional growth and meets students’ needs. We work closely with all College offices to serve all our students.

Student Learning Outcomes

  1. Students will able to use to Banner Self-Service to access available online services.
  2.  Students will able to identify the appropriate office to address their concern/issue.
  3.  Students will able to select the correct Q-Flow option to complete required transactions.

 Departmental Goals:

 SSC will collaborate with other offices to implement related departmental goals. 

Related to Student Services Master Plan 2013, Collaboration & Partnership:  

  • Foster collaborations and partnerships both internal and external.

 Related to SUNY Orange Strategic Plan 2009-2014 Priority V.

SSC will use assessment, program evaluation, and satisfaction data to streamline enrollment processes and support services for students.

Related to Student Services Master Plan 2013, Collaboration & Partnership:  

  • Foster collaborations and partnerships both internal and external.

Related to SUNY Orange Strategic Plan 2009-2014 Priority I. II and V.

SSC will expand the implementation of OnBase usage at the Newburgh Campus to support other student services departments, such as Registration, Bursars, etc.

Related to Student Services Master Plan 2013, Technology:

  • Expand document imaging throughout Student Services; explore and implement utilization college-wide as appropriate
  • Explore, introduce and utilize technology designed to improve operations, enhance communication, streamline service, and increase productivity and efficiency.

Related to SUNY Orange Strategic Plan 2009-2014 Priority IV. and V.

SSC, in collaboration with Student Services Middletown departments, expand off-peak Enrollment Specialists projects that support retention and enrollment at SUNY Orange.
