Student Services Central (SSC) provides current and prospective students with centralized enrollment services and functions as the customer service area representing Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, and Student Accounts.  SSC has a location on both campuses, and in Newburgh we work closely with the back offices and provide support to OAS, Advising, and CAPE.  

Due to turnover in staffing and a college hiring freeze, AY1819 saw SSC with the smallest number of staff to date.  For AY1920, we hope to stabilize and increase staffing, and thereby decrease wait times and improve customer service. In AY1718 SSC successfully completed a cohesive and user-friendly Training Manual.  The college's current transition to Banner 9 will necessitate extensive revisions to the Training Manual to maintain accurate information and enable staff to complete processes and procedures with a low rate of error. 

Communicating and collaborating with other departments remains a central focus for SSC and critical to our role of providing accurate and efficient customer service.  We also rely on student feedback and assessment data, and this year will work to improve the current assessment tool in an effort to collect and respond to more accurate data.
