Implementation of the first year of the new 2014-2017 Foundation Strategic Plan, which includes an emphasis on the continued growth of the Annual Fund over the prior year, increased donor participation by alumni, major donor stewardship, the completion of at least three major gift commitments of $100,000 or more, ongoing promotion of Planned Gifts, the development and implementation of new metrics and dashboards to assess fundraising and allocation outcomes and and ensure they align with College's strategic priorities,goals, and planning process, the development of a plan to increase the diversity of the make-up of the Board membership to be more reflective of the community at large and students served by the College, increased collaboration between the Foundation Board and College Trustees in College advocacy efforts, and sustained efforts to ensure fiscal soundness as well as effective and efficient operations of the Foundation.

Specific things the department wishes to achieve or accomplish this academic year.

1 Continued strategic efforts to assist the Foundation President, Foundation Committee Chairs and members to meet the objectives of the Foundation’s strategic plans, support Foundation operations, and increase fundraising results.
2 The continued growth of fund raising results to include a 10% increase in revenue and a 10% increase in donor participation in Annual Fund giving over the prior year.
3 Development and implementation of fund raising and allocation metrics, dashboards, and benchmarks to assess fund raising and allocation initiatives by the Foundation and ensure their alignment with the strategic priorities and goals of the College.
4 The implementation of a new Foundation Scholarship Committee charged with reviewing the applications and awarding scholarships for entering students as well as the assessment the overall Foundation Scholarship Program.
5 Development of a collaborative plan between the Foundation Board and College Trustees for integrated College marketing and advocacy efforts.
6 Development of a plan to increase the diversity and inclusion of the make-up of Foundation Board membership to more accurately reflect the demography of the community and the student population served by the College
7 Continued ongoing collaboration by the College President, VP for Institutional Advancement, Grants Director, Alumni Affairs Coordinator, staff, and faculty to develop at least three integrated and/or complementary major gift proposals of $100,000 or more.
8 Implementing, scaling up, and institutionalizing donor stewardship efforts to sustain positive relationships with existing major donors.
9 Work with the Foundation Development Committee to identify and cultivate at least five new prospects for major gifts and maintain relationships with the existing portfolio of major gift prospects and donors.
10 Participation in a wide range of community events on and off campus efforts intended to engage current major gift donors as well as major gift prospects.
