The following goals are updated to reflect the objectives of the second year of the Foundation 2014-2017 Strategic Plan.  Included is fundraising expansion and enhancement, particularly growth of the Annual Fund. Fund raising goals are focused on increased participation by alumni, ongoing major donor development and stewardship, and the completion of at least two major gift commitments of $100,000 or more.  There is also emphasis on renewed marketing of planned gifts, and the development and implementation of a new performance dashboard.  Program goals focus on utilizing scholarships and program allocations as a means of supporting the College’s program as well as enrollment, retention, and completion goals and objectives.  A new program goal will be the roll-out of the Opportunity Fund grant program, intended to promote innovation by both students and faculty in the STEM disciplines.  Board development goals include the developing of a strategic plan for the implementation of the Diversity and Inclusion Initiative.  The Board will also sustain its collaboration with the College Board of Trustees, particularly in advocacy and marketing efforts as well as a coordinated plan to engage the new College President in development and fund raising.  The Board will also ensure there are sustained efforts to ensure fiscal soundness as well as effective and efficient operations of the Foundation.
