More Information

How did the implementation advance the department's or division's involved, as well as the institution?
If the initiative has not been implemented, please explain why

We are currently focused on other major initiatives across campus.  Due to the workload associated with those other initiatives, this was deemed too much to take on at this time.

Additional comments, including future plans for this initiative

We are currently still progressing with addressing printing on campus in other ways.  We have a draft print policy ready to be reviewed.  We are completing a full inventory of all printers on campus.  We have worked with the Comptroller to create an account to start replacing failing large form factor multifunction printers on campus.  we have already installed a color printer in the Registrar's Office and are gearing up to purchase an additional 5-6 B&W printers that will be part of the SUNY agreement for support allowing for a $.003 cost per page.  We will be working over the next year to implement secured release for these new multifunction printers.
