Initiative Title | Add lab stations to the architectural studio. RCSE 301 |
---|---|
Submitted in Previous Year(s) | No |
Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale | The architectural CAD Lab currently has 18 stations. This limits the capacity of the class to 18 students, we cannot stretch the class since they would not have a terminal to work from. If we were to get 20 students we must open an additional course section or turn the additional students away. If we add three more terminals to the room we can increase the maximum capacity of the class to 21, giving us more flexibility to stretch in additional students. We can do this since we usually loose 3 or 4 students in the first month or so. |
Consequences of this initiative not being funded | We will not have the flexibility to accept additional students without opening new sections when freshman enrollment passes 18 students. |
