Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale	The architectural CAD Lab currently has 18 stations. This limits the capacity of the class to 18 students, we cannot stretch the class since they would not have a terminal to work from. If we were to get 20 interested students we must open an additional course section or turn the additional students away. If we add three more terminals to the room we can increase the maximum capacity of the class to 21, giving us more flexibility to stretch in additional students. We can do this since we usually loose 3 or 4 students in the first month or so.
Consequences of this initiative not being funded	We will not have the flexibility to accept additional students without opening new sections when freshman enrollment passes 18 students.

We will mot need to turn away students if enrollment passes 18 and we do not have the faculty to open additional sections.
ACADEMIC MASTER PLAN 2016-2020 Programming Objective #4: Design learning opportunities that acknowledge and support the diverse and transitional nature of students’ educational paths.	We will be able to intake more students without adding additional course sections
