Initiative TitleConduct a qualtative brand assessment of marketing, recruitment and yield enrollment activities
Submitted in Previous Year(s)No
Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale

Competition for enrollment has never been greater.  Residents of Orange County have many higher educational options from which to choose.  Not only are there bachelor degree-granting institutions offering significant financial packages and creative academic programming options but online opportunities from colleges across the county are now being promoted in our county.  Additionally, the number of community colleges in the State of New York now offering student housing options is at an all-time high.

Consequences of this initiative not being funded

If this initiative is not funded, SUNY Orange will continue to spend money on marketing, recruitment and yield strategies that are based sole on past practice and not on current data and national and regional best practices and trends.
