Unlike many private and state operated bachlor degree granting institutions of higher education whose students disburse regionally, nationally and even internationally after commencement, community college graduates (who pay leave the area for some time) tend to return to the region, thus making connecting with these alumni somewhat easier.  However, unlike these same students, it usually takes longer to cultivate a community college alumnus.

Alumni can the be a community colleges a valuable resource to Offices of Admissions, Offices of Career Services as they are living proof of the good that can happen on a community college campus
