Consequences of this initiative not being funded

The honors office will be closed and lounge not supervised for 20+ hours per week.

Reinstating a full-time clerical person will ensure the honors office is open during normal business hours when the coordinator is not available, provide assistance to students and faculty, ensure facilities and students are monitored, safe and neat, provide an additional person for students to talk with, help facilitate planning, programming, and assessment, and generally insure smoother operations of the program, while better utilizing the coordinator's time.
