Supervisors and Managers will benefit from a program that addresses and defines  the skill sets needed to  lead an effective team.  The training will provide supervisors/managers with a greater understanding of their responsibilities and role, which will in turn build confidence.  This confidence will enhance overall performance which  can only benefit the institution. 

Consequences of this initiative not being funded

New supervisors and managers may not be able to excel in their new roles or reach their full potential which in the end can hurt them, their departments, and the College.
