Consequences of this initiative not being funded	This program, which began in Fall 2009, needs a steady source of funding to continue to expand and serve this significant cohort of students.

Funding for all three Developmental Oversight Team initiatives, Developmental Learning Communities, Post-semester Interventions, and Pre-semester interventions, is currently being sought through a Title 3 grant. However, whether or not the grant proposal is funded, it is in the best interests of the college as a whole, and its under-prepared students in particular, to support these initiatives to the furthest extent possible.
