Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale	The College Archives contains materials which are fragile and unique relating to the Horton/Morrison families and the early history of the College. Digitization would assist in preservation of these items as well as make them accessible to the public and college community.
Consequences of this initiative not being funded	Access to these historic and valuable collections would continue to be restricted due to the lack of a finding aid to locate individual items within the archives. A digitization project would create the cataloging finding aid as well as provide electronic replicas to allow for visual access to the collection.
