In support of the institutional objectives for diversity and inclusion along with Title V grant initiatives, the CTL will develop customized professional development programming for faculty and staff relating to culturally responsive student engagement. 

This programming will include pedagogical best practices, assessment tools and student success measurements.  To provide further guidance and insight, the CTL will engaged a variety of subject matter experts for speaking engagements and workshops.  

This programming will be built on the pillars of... CONSISTENT, ACCESSIBLE, FLEXIBLE.        All content, workshops and programming will be produced and offered via multiple channels and with direct outreach to faculty and staff.   The intent is to reach EVERY member of our community in order to promote these ideals and ensure our faculty and staff have the support and tools necessary to bring about change.  

Consequences of this initiative not being funded

This initiative is of critical importance. Without the implementation of training and support in this area several institutional initiatives may be negatively impacted; e.g. TitleV, Strategic Initiatives, etc.

This initiative will directly support the TitleV grant objectives and provide the tools, training and resources the faculty and staff need to deliver on the promise of equity and inclusion for our students and our community.
