Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale	Currently there will be twenty-four day sections taught by adjuncts in the Fall '06 semester. This is equivalent to 4.8 full-time faculty members!
Consequences of this initiative not being funded	We will continue to increase our reliance on part-time faculty members. There is a limit to the number of sections that can be taught by adjuncts before the department becomes significantly impacted. The department needs a healthy core of full-time faculty to guarantee access by students and continued high quality of instruction.
