Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale	The Global Studies department anticipates three new faculty within the year. Many of the desks, chairs and bookcases in Sarah Wells are decades old, broken and worn. We have begun replacing some of these items. Other tenured faculty have asked for replacements as well. To created the most ergonomic and professional work environment possible, we need replacements.
Consequences of this initiative not being funded	Tenure-track and tenured faculty must continue to work in a substandard environment. Decreases morale, looks unprofessional to visitors and students.
