Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale	With the expected increase in the number of mathematics courses and students in Newburgh the Resource Room will need a part- time supervisor. This person would work in the lab, hire and train all tutors, form study groups and give small group tutorials This person would need to have at least a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics.
Consequences of this initiative not being funded	Although peer tutoring works very well a part- time professional would increase the effectiveness of the resource room. This person would increase retention.

STRATEGIC Priority V: Expand and enhance programs, services and operations to ensure the College is accessible to all members of an increasingly diverse community.	This initiative will allow the Math Resource Room in Newburgh to improve its operation. The supervisor would be able to better staff the room for needed hours, oversee the peer tutors and in this way assist the diverse population of Newburgh.
AMP C: Under-prepared Students	Underprepared students are more shy than other students. An adult supervisor would help these students enter the lab and feel more comfortable.
