Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale	Advising for students, in terms of general and semester specific is inadequate to the program's growth. Currently, one person does all advising, regardless of the number of students and the student's major. Additional advisors within different majors would allow students to be advised in a more efficient manner and with information more directed to their eventual careers or transfer choices. At least one additional advisor is needed: the costs could be coveredin course redfinition of six credits per semester.
Consequences of this initiative not being funded	Students will continue to wait a long time for an appointment. Current advisor (Honors Program Coordinator) is overburdened, Students lack information specific to eventual careers or majors.
