Incorporate 'dare to lead' philsophies into Supervisor Training Program

Initiative TitleIncorporate 'dare to lead' philsophies into Supervisor Training Program
Submitted in Previous Year(s)No
Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale

A few cohorts participated in 'dare to lead' training in 2022.  The training consisted of building greater self-awareness, developing the ability to have difficult conversations, and leading with empathy.  These components are extremely beneficial to supervisors and the organization as a whole.

Consequences of this initiative not being funded

Establishing a supervisory training program that does not address the fact that leaders are required to have difficult conversations and  must have self-awareness and empathy will not be as balanced and effective as a program that includes these components.  The 'dare to lead' model addresses these much needed attributes in a user friendly way.  The dare to lead workshop components would enhance the supervisory training program greatly.
